Ekta Kapoor has marked fame for herself in the television industry as a producer. She has occupied an important name in the TV serials and is a household name today.
The producer was born to the veteran actor Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor. Her brother Tusshar Kapoor is an Indian film actor. Ekta is the joint Managing Director and Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms, her production company.
Ekta did her schooling from Bombay Scottish School, Mahim and attended the Mithibai College in Mumbai.
She has produced a number of serials out of which maximum are aired on Star Plus and rest on Zee TV, Sony and Colors. Apart from producing serials, she has also produced many movies and won many awards for the best producer.
