Boom truck is a type of utility vehicle. The vans used by phone or cable companies carry long folded arms which are expandable when needed. These vans are called boom trucks. These trucks carry a bucket which is called cherry picker and attached at the extension of arms. While fixing the poles of cables or phones these buckets are use to lift the workers. These trucks have a lifting capacity of 350 pounds (158.76 kg) to 1500 pounds (680.39 kg), and may extend the bucket up to 34 feet (10.36 m) in the air.
