How do you use Ethernet port as USB port?

Connect the router by USB cable to a computer. Use the driver on the CD-ROM to install the router. The network icon will appear under Settings / Network Connection. Enable the network adapter and get an IP from the router. Under DOS command prompt, use ipconfig to check it gets the IP already then the computer can access Internet via this router. Please note that the connection speed will be slower than Ethernet port

Well, you may know that USB ports can be used for similar and same purposes as Ethernet. Really, the only hardware need is a converter.
