I think this is due to the good relation b/w them, and it is Lalit Modi who is the father of IPL by which Shilpa Shetty is earning loads of money..

There is definitely some twist in IPL story as it is believed the most of the matches were fixed and the IPL team owners are too involved in the matters.......c an't say may she just wants to defend the whole conspiracy so she can save herself too.
