Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Now you remember Manjot Singh who earned many positive reviews for his performance in the movie. Manjot Singh was born on July 7, 1992 in Delhi in a Sikh family. He is a teenage Indian actor who has won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance for his role in the year 2009. Well… he loved acting but it was not his main aim; it was just the pre planning of his destiny which was stored in his future. Manjot’s father got to know that Gagan Singh and his team were in Delhi scouting for actors and asked his son if he wanted to try it out. He had never acted before apart from school plays but they went to Arvinder for an audition. But after his audition he was rejected by the casting director of Dibakar Banerjee’s Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! but Dibakar knew hat he had found his lucky. Later after being selected, the Singh boy went to Manali for a week long acting workshop and was asked to observe the ways of acting of Abhay Deol. Manjot is prepared to make a new entry with Khatron Ke Khiladi-3 as he is one of the 12 contestants.
