Swaroop Khan is the most traditional singer in all of the contestants. At 19 years of age, he is a Rajasthani folk singer who has inherited the profession & carries his own style.

Swaroop is from Jodhpur, Rajasthan & was born in Langa family.  He impressed the judges at the auditions with his folk music which he performed with his group and grabbed the golden chance. Finding it difficult to sing Hindi songs, he gave an outstanding performance by singing Kal Ho Na Ho song.

Swaroop is very confident of his singing and surely he will be learning lot more styles to be there on Indian Idol platform for long and confirm his chance to win all the way the ultimate title.
