Ghajini fame Asin is back in action after facing some strong remarks from the critics who had in fact written her off owing to the failure of London Dreams. It is notable that post London Dreams, where she had starred opposite Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan, people in town had started calling her a one film wonder.

But Asin proved them all wrong as she returned with a bang alongside Salman in Ready, a 100 crore earner. She continued the trend of being part of 100 crore grosser with Housefull 2, where she romanced Akshay Kumar. And recently, she got another hit added to her kitty with the successfully running Bol Bachchan. However, Asin couldn’t help falling into another controversy because of her no show at BB’s screening held at a suburban multiplex on Thursday.     

While the whole of cast and crew was present there it was only Asin missing from action. When probed for the reason, her spokesperson came up with the excuse of her being under the weather. Her ill health forced her to stay away from the event. But if believe the sources then her absence might be because of the promos of Anurag Kashyap’s Ranbir-Priyanka-Ileana starrer Barfi attached to her film. As per a source, “Anurag had offered Asin a role in his film first, immediately after he completed writing it. But at that time she chose Rohit Shetty’s film. As the shoot schedules were clashing, she could only do one of the projects. With the promos creating a buzz and people wondering why she decided not to do the Ranbir-starrer, Asin just wanted to give the scenario a miss.”

Well, let’s see if Asin has any explanation for the same!
