Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami to play leads in Colors' new show Shikhar!

Buzz has it that Drashti has been considered to play the lead in Colors’ new offering, Shikhar, which is said to be based on the concept of cross border romance. Interestingly, for the male lead the officials of the show are doting on the dashing Vivian Dsena whom we saw last playing the blood sucking vampire, Abhay Raichand, in Star One’s Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani.
Sources close to Saurabh Tewari's Nautanki Films (Shikhar makers) have confirmed that the makers did approach a lot many actors for the said roles. Renowned names like Abhinav Shukla, Rajat Tokas and a few more including Vivian were called for a look test. However, it is believed that the makers are more likely to sign in Vivian as the male lead owing to the immense popularity he has among the youth.
The same goes for Drashti too, who turned to be the darling of masses after playing the jovial Geet in GHSP! The makers feel that Drashti has a big fan following and roping in an actress like her would certainly bring the show in light. It is notable that ever since the news about Gurmeet Choudhary aka Maan Singh Khurana returning to small screen with Punar Vivaah had hit the town, all Geet fans were eagerly waiting for Drashti also to bag a show. However, Drashti has denied being approached for the show but if go by the sources then she is the one to play the female lead opposite Vivian.
Well, all what we want is to see Drashti back in a show. Let’s see what the end result comes to be!
