After her dirty act in The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan has earned lot many admirers and now we guess there is a new addition into her list of fans.

She has found herself yet another ardent admirer in none other than writer-politician Shashi Tharoor. During her visit to Trivandrum, for a felicitation at an awards ceremony, Vidya found herself seated next to the charming writer.

Eyewitness informs that in the company of Vidya, the usually composed Shashi Tharoor seemed visibly excited. The two were seen laughing and chatting away for most of the little time that the actress spent at the event.

When Vidya tried to speak in Malayalam while on stage, Shashi was seen cheering her on. The actress, however, admitted that though she was a Malayali, it was tough to speak the language as she was brought up outside Kerala.

Before Vidya left the venue, Shashi even requested a media photographer to click a picture of him with Vidya on his personal phone. Shashi also shared his happiness with his followers on a social network site when he said he was 'sitting with the actress', while at the do.

"They hit it off well. They spent most of their time chatting with each other. They also exchanged phone numbers," says a source, who was present at the event.

So it is clear that the Vidya fame is reaching new levels now!
