French actress Vanessa Paradis, who has been mum so far over her split with Johnny Depp, has made an exception. For the first time since the announcement of their break-up, she came out in open talking about it insisting that she didn't "want to be there".
Although she didn't provide the details about her split, she did hint at her feelings after the breakdown of her 14-year old relationship.
"I don't have the recipe for happiness, but I think the engine is simply having the desire. It's not feeling obliged or forced or repeating yourself. I hate, for example, whenever you hear someone say: 'You have to work at being a couple.' No, you have to want to be there. And for me, I want to be right where I am right now," she told the sources.
When asked specifically about her break-up with the Pirates of Caribbean star, Paradis snapped back and refused to talk about her ex. "I don't want to talk about him. Who said that artists should sell their soul, expose everything about themselves? It's my duty to promote this movie, and my albums, but can you imagine what it feels like to see people making a business out of your pain. What's happened to us is our concern."
Must say, you are really handling it all very wisely Vanessa, we appreciate!
