No matter whether we have accomplished the deadlines for CWG’s preparation or not, but it is really a great accomplishment that we are at least ready with the theme song. The Commonwealth Games' theme song, "Jiyo Utho Badho Jeeto", composed by Oscar-winner musical maestro A.R. Rahman was unveiled at a glittering function in Delhi on Saturday.

Rahman said that the song is a call made to every one to participate in the Oct 3-14 mega sporting event. Well…..Rahman Sahab, we know that you must have given your full efforts and hard work in making the theme song but our game’s organizing committee is not that perfect. You have kept your words and have got the song released on time but the committee is still struggling with the deadlines.

Recently the theme song got clearance from the Group of Ministers headed by Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy. Yeah….Mr. Reddy has done a great job, but it would have been better if the same perfection was shown for other preparations as well.

After the launch of the theme song Sheila Dikshit said, “The Games which have come to India for the first time are going to be the most memorable Commonwealth Games ever held. We are confident that Delhi, with India behind it, will be able to achieve what many people believe may not be possible."

Guess Mrs. Dikshit is not aware of the big list containing the loop holes in the preparations of the game, but not to worry the game would still be memorable and you all know why????

The theme song is inspiring and full of sportsman spirit, hope the officials are able to meet the dead lines so that we can lift the country’s head up with pride.
