Olympics women's boxing bronze winner, Mary Kom is back to her country, from London and soon landing she was ready for the first of the many receptions that awaited her.
Speaking on the occasion, she said, "I don't have a speech with me, so I don't know what to say. The planning for Rio has already started."

She envisages a stream of girls lining up to join her academy. She said, "I met with the state's sport director in London and we had a chat with the sports minister, and we discussed ways to upgrade facilities and create chances to get in foreign coaches."
On how he deals with this role reversal, her husband Onler, the wizened fifty six-year old farmer from Kamahi village, came up with the most grown-up answer. He said, "We humans are all gifted differently. If we shape the talent that we have, and if we are successful in doing that, then we don't have to judge that he's a man, or she's a woman. Because then we all become equal. It depends on the person and how they are able to shape their talent."
Well said Onler, we must say, Mary Kom is a lucky lady!
