For the uninitiated, the film has been under the scanner strictly and has got 59 edits before being slotted for being broadcasted on TV.
The film has the story of a South actress Silk Smitha portrayed by Vidya Balan, who got carried away by the stardom and glamour and later repented ending up her life.
