The 2010 release Aisha stood as a big fiasco for Sonam Kapoor, sister Rhea Kapoor and everyone else involved with the film.

Along with the poor reviews it bagged, the film even saw some verbal spat taking place between film’s lead Sonam and Abhay Deol. In fact, Abhay had gone saying that the film was just Sonam’s display of her luxurious wardrobe. It further got worse when Sonam pointed at Abhay’s acting skills, which as per the diva didn’t match the requirements of the film.

Though it’s all over now with the film turning a thing of past but controversies surrounding Aisha doesn’t seem to be ending soon. Of late, the director of the film Rajshree Ojha had made a bolt from the blue stating that she had no role in the final cut of the film hence she doesn’t stand responsible for its failure.

Now, when everyone was accepting the rather blabbermouth Sonam to give the rebuttal in her own style, she took us by surprise saying, “Aisha’s director Rajshree Ojha did the right thing by disowning the vanity film”. Accepting the director’s words, Sonam said, “I only look at it as a positive experience. It’s right for her to disown the film. It’s her right”.

This makes us wonder if Sonam is ready to take the blame of Aisha’s debacle on her. And if this stands true then we guess the style diva is growing up!
