Sonakshi Sinha has proved the adage right that different people aren’t the ones who do different things but who does things differently. In an industry where skin show has become the vital part of all the films being made irrespective of the banner and budget, Sona has chosen to go the other way round with her desi image.

In her two films so far namely Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore we saw the lady all clad in elegant saris and other Indian attires. In fact, her upcoming films too have Sonakshi carrying the Indian image with sheer pride and dignity. On being asked if she doesn’t feel insecure about her career in town owing to the desi avatar, Sona says, “Contrary to belief, it's not difficult to be a desi girl. I don't have any dearth of films which are coming my way. And the work I'm doing doesn't require me to do any of that. I have certain principles which I'm going by, and none of my producers or directors has any complaints. Dabangg opened up a lot of avenues for me. People ask me about my desi avatar and if it's risky. And I always ask them if they know of any newcomer who has signed six films after their debut”.

She has a point! Anyway, other than her desi girl image, she has even be known for keeping charming men at bay and not getting into any sort of love relation. On her single status so far, she says, I wish I had the time for love. I have been working around the clock and my goals are very different right now. But most importantly, I am happy. I like coming on the sets every day, meeting new people, dancing, singing... Basically just going things I enjoy. When love has to happen, it will. I don't believe in casual dating. When I find the one, I'll see how I balance my personal and professional commitments. Right now, there's no time for it”.

Woo! That was a smart answer Sonakshi.
