Seems our tennis star and one time heartthrob of the nation Sania Mirza is back in action. This time she has let her game speak for her.  She succeeded in sealing a berth in the women's singles main draw of the US Open after a hard earned win over Columbia's Catalina Castano in the qualifying event.

Not bad Sania, I think it was really a good start and even a good way of making your critics go completely mum. Hope, now they will not have anything to point at you.
 
The match wasn’t that easy for her, she overcame a second set lapse to beat her rival by 6-1 1-6 6-3 in the third and final round in one hour and 48 minutes. Sania saved four break points and broke Catalina twice and got the opening set lead.

Though she faced a tough competition from Catalina in her second set but Sania did not lose her control over the game and finally won the game by saving four breakpoints to spot the main draw.

Hmmm…..so it means that she still has the spark in her, but the problem here is consistency. Isn’t it Sania? I would suggest you not to endorse any brand for now; else you will again get diverted. And I know you would not like Saina taking your place in spite of being from a totally different sport.

Finally Sania has understood that it is the game that makes the player earn fame and everybody salutes the rising star. Wish you luck Sania and hope you are not troubled with the controversies hitting the Pakistan Cricket as your hubby dear happens to be a part of the same.
