Saif Ali Khan’s career turned to its zenith after his role of Langda Tyagi in Omkara. He came out of his shell to play a gangster and the history seems to be repeating itself as chote nawab is all geared up for another shot of being a gangster after six years of long gap in  Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next.

But if you all are speculating that the rustic role of a gangster which Saifu is going to portray would be same of Langda Tyagi of Omkara then reverse your thoughts as this is not the case.

Saif, who is against the idea of reprising his iconic character again, will be playing a UP gangster in the flick. An insider reveals more, "We will see Saif in a completely different light. Since his earlier character became a cult of sorts, the setting and concept may remind viewers of Langda, but the filmmakers and Saif are ensuring that the characterization is distinct."

Though the final draft of the story has not been crafted yet but Saif is very affirmative about not repeating the Langda Tyagi’s form and says, "We are trying to finalize a film with Tigmanshu. Though the script is set in the UP hinterlands, I will play anything but Langda Tyagi. Why would I attempt something that I have already done in the past?"

It’s still a suspense for us Saif.
