This is a sigh of relief for the fans of the Saifeena Jodi aka Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Saif has been facing issues of marrying a girl outside his religion which would not entitle him to be the custodian of Rs. 1000 crore royal waqf properties.

There have been rumors in the industry of Saif giving up the rights to his property by marrying Kareena who is of other religion and will not convert into Islam. Saif became the Nawab of Pataudi after the demise of his father last year and has to succeed his sister Soba to the post. The post consists of properties amounting to Rs. 1000 crores.

Well, the rumors seem to fade away now as the chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board, Gufran Azam recently said that the actor has the right to choose the bride of any religion and this won’t make any problem for him in becoming the successor to Saba.

Well, the public statement by Saif on the issue is still to be made. We just hope that the actor doesn’t have to face such a heavy loss due to his love. What say?
