There is a fresh air filled in film fraternity with the flow of raw themes and the latest feather added to this fresh cap of films in Rani Mukherjee’s upcoming Aiyya. Rani’s character Meenakshi Deshpande might stir up the town with the freshness and relative feel in its portrayal. The Bong beauty herself is amused by the role she would be essaying and is sure that the role would touch many hearts.
Thought there is nothing new to the role as Rani would be playing a middle class girl whose parents are hell bent to get her hitched as soon as possible but the charm of Rani would be infusing life to it and the actress feels that every girl at the marriageable age would be able to relate themselves with the character. As while portraying the character the actress has kept the mind set and ongoing notions of a marriageable Indian girl in mind.
"I think Aiyyaa character Meenakshi Deshpande is such that every girl, whose parents are trying to get her married, will identify with her. Even I, to some extent, identify with this character.” Rani uttered.
She further spoke, "For me, shooting the songs of Aiyyaa has been very memorable. Every song is special and different. One song has belly dancing, the other is Tollywood-style dancing, and another is a lavani. So I enjoyed them, I had never done belly dancing before but I learnt it for this film. Then I also learnt lavani, and Tollywood dancing is a masti dance."
We wish you all graces and glories for the same Rani.
