Thanks to its catchy promos, Anurag Basu’s film Barfi has bagged on to the fancy of movie buffs. And to spice it up, here we have the lead also talking high of the film.
Buzz states that Barfi star Ranbir Kapoor too vouches that it is indeed a very special film. Post the success of Rockstar, playback singer Mohit Chauhan is being identified as Ranbir Kapoor's voice. The actor admits that singers play a big role in an artist's career. And he is elated with the fact that Mohit has sung for him in his forthcoming Barfi too.
Ranbir said, “Barfi is a very special film and it releases Sep 14. Mohit babajee (Mohit Chauhan) has sung the title song Aala re Barfi and I am very happy. A singer generally doesn't get the credit for the importance he brings to the career of an actor”.
When asked how tough it was to emote only with actions in Barfi, Ranbir said, "It's very easy. If you are at a noisy place and if your friend is standing at around a distance of 20 feet then how would you tell him that I am thirsty or I need to pee or I want to watch Gangs of Wasseypur? You'll use physical actions or your eyes."
"I am an actor and I should know how to act not just with my face but my body also. So I didn't do any character or in-depth study," added the 29-year-old who plays a deaf-mute boy in the film.
