Earlier we heard of Shahrukh Khan being summoned for smoking in public by the court, but this time it is a young actor and the Rockstar of today who has recently been caught in such a controversy.

Heartthrob of town, Ranbir Kapoor was the one who is said to have followed SRK. The actor was recently in the beautiful city of Rajasthan, Udaipur, shooting for his upcoming flick Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani opposite his ex-flame Deepika Padukone. The grapevines say that the actor was caught smoking in public and has been summoned by the court.

During the time of their shoot, a local daily published the picture of the actor smoking on May 28th, 2012. A quick reaction from Harish Vaishnav came after sighting these images who further lodged a complaint against the actor under CrPC section 156(3) at a local court in the city.

Harendra Singh, the in-charge of the Ghanta Ghar police station said about the case, “A copy of the summons reached us on Saturday evening. He is being booked for violation of Section 5 of Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act. Our personnel will visit the actor in Mumbai next week to hand over the summons to him.”

The actor is liable to an imprisonment of six months or Rs. 200 fine according to the Rajasthan’s Prevention of Smoking Act. We wonder what’s going wrong with this big stars these days!
