Telugu superstar Ramcharan Teja, who is already a superstar in Telugu film industry, is now keen on hoisting his flag of success in Bollywood. And to fulfill his dream the neo-Zanjeer's leading man is all set to build his nest in Mumbai.

Last week he was in the city to hunt around for a home. Ramcharan, who considers Salman Khan as his mentor, consulted him on the best possibilities for acquiring a residence there. And now he has zeroed in on property in the Bandra area of Mumbai, quite close to where Salman and his family live.

Ramcharan’s close friends inform that he is determined to establish a parallel career in Hindi. "Ram doesn't want Zanjeer to be a one-off blockbuster in Hindi like his dad's Chiranjeevi’s Pratibandh. He wants to build a career brick by brick in Mumbai. And that means setting up a home in Mumbai."

Meanwhile, Ramcharan's house hunt in Mumbai coincides with his wife Upasana Kamineni, the heiress of the Apollo chain of hospitals, expansion plans in Mumbai. "The couple wants to set up a home in Mumbai from where they can pursue their respective careers. While Ramcharan will concentrate on Bollywood, Upasana will work on the hospital project in Mumbai," said a source.

When sources contacted Ramcharan, he confirmed these property developments, "I was in Mumbai last week to buy a home. I saw three properties in and around Bandra. Now I am going back to Mumbai with my wife to finalize the deal."
