It was through reality show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega, Dimpy Mahajan claimed to fame and got hitched to Rahul Mahajan. However, things went wrong barely after few months and Dimpy, only 21 then, filed a police complaint alleging that Rahul was a wife beater.

However, that is the thing of past now as the two are happy and will be seen on the small screen together soon.

"We have sorted out our differences and are a happy couple now," she says. "If things were bitter like before, we wouldn't have been together," she adds. Though Dimpy suffered from a miscarriage last year, she says, "Yes, I was sad about it but it cannot be the be all and end all of everything. I had to go through complications and it took a long time for me to recover from the trauma."

Talk about the reality show which brought her fame and a life partner, and she says, "It takes a lot of guts to do what I did. Not everybody can hold on to another the way Rahul and I did." She also goes on to say, "Rakhi's show was jinxed, that is why she couldn't be together with the man she had chosen from the Swayamvar. The name of her show was Rakhi ka Swayamvar whereas, Rahul's show, Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega, stressed on the assurance."
