The latest buzz making way from Tinseltown has it that late superstar Rajesh Khanna’s house Ashirwad will apparently be converted into a museum as per his daughters' wish. After the veteran actor’s death, the house was heard to be possessed by his daughter as they are his only heirs.
But it is learnt that as both his daughters are well-settled, they don’t want the house for themselves and rather want it to be converted into museum in the memory of their late father.
"Yes, there are plans to convert Ashirwad into a museum, but nothing has been finalised yet. The family members will take the decision after Rajesh Khanna's chautha. It's his daughters Twinkle and Rinke's wish to do so," a source close to Rajesh Khanna's family told on condition of anonymity.
"It will be called Rajesh Khanna Museum and his precious things will be kept in the museum," added the source. Another source said that Khanna, who passed away on Wednesday, wanted the sea-facing bungalow on Carter Road in Bandra West to be turned into a museum after his death.
Well if this happens then it will be India's first star museum!
