After his last film Ekk Deewana Tha bombed at the box-office, Prateik is adamant to change the history with his upcoming film Issaq. The actor says he was excited playing with guns and doing stunts in this first action movie of his.
The movie is due to be released in two months, in which he plays a Banarasi boy in the lead role. "It's very exciting for any young boy or man. It's a dream to play with guns and do stunts. It was very exciting for me", he said.
Based in Banaras, it's a Romeo-Juliet kind of story and he is a kind of "killing machine" in the film. "He is a Banarasi boy who kills for a living". The 25-year-old, gets candid when asked if he expected Issaq to give his career a breakthrough.
"I am not expecting anything. I hope it does (gives me breakthrough). (But) I am not expecting it. For me, it's (the script) something I believed in and wanted to work on. As an actor, action is something I have never done. So I wanted to do it", he said. "It's a fascinating script and story. I wanted to do it".
