Buzz making way from tinsel town has it that famous car company Porsche have said that Lindsay Lohan's brakes couldn't have failed last month, moments before she slammed her Porsche into an 18-wheeler, because they tested the car after the crash and the brakes did not show any malfunction.
Earlier the Liz & Dick star blamed faulty brakes for the accident, telling friends she slammed on the brakes when the truck allegedly cut her off and nothing happened.
Now insiders are saying that after Porsche heard about the statement, they asked the rental car company if they could test the brakes on the car that Lindsay was driving. After inspection, it turned out that the breaks were working properly.
According to the report, neither Porsche nor the Santa Monica Police Department had comments on the claims and calls to the Mean Girls actress’ rep were not answered. Buzz says that Porsche contacted the company that rented Lohan the vehicle, asking if it could formally test the car, after the actress blamed the brakes.
Porsche ran its tests, finding the brakes that had been installed on the car were A-OK, and showed no evidence of malfunction.
