Actress Padmini Kolhapure holds a prominent position in the Indian Film Industry; she was among the leading ladies of 80’s. After staying back from the limelight for long time now the talented actress is all set to make a comeback.

As per the industry sources, the top leading lady of her times Padmini Kolhapure is returning to silver screen with an upcoming. Helmed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, the movie is titled as Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Reportedly, the movie stars Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D Cruz in the lead roles. The audience will see Padmini as a mother of Sasha. It is notable that the actress hasn’t been entirely distanced from the arc lights as she was busy doing regional cinema. In the year 2006, the leading lady of 80’s had given an award winning performance in the Marathi film Chimnee Pakhare.
 
Recently, she was seen in the Marathi tele serial Maee. On being quizzed about his forthcoming, filmmaker Raj Kumar Santoshi revealed to sources “The film is intrinsically an intense story about a mother and son, intertwined with light moments punctuating the plot”.

Well it would be great to see Padmini back on the silver screen after a long time!
