Dhobi Ghat fame Monica Dogra got the golden chance to work with Aamir Khan in her debut film as actor. And now, her second film Bejoy Nambiar's David all set to release, where she is paired alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh, for whom the girl is all praises for.

“Neil was a pleasure to work with. I learned so much about the camera from him, as he is very familiar with camera techniques and is a photographer himself,” the singer-songwriter Monica.

She says she found common ground with Neil unexpectedly. And she is keen to work with him in the future. Ask her if she exchanged any musical notes with Neil, considering he loves music too, and she says, "Yes! Neil would sing in between takes, and told me that he's interested in producing, which I found interesting. He is very talented."

This being Monica's second film, the actress is excited about the part. She shares, "What's exciting about this role is how it is so diametrically different from my public identity. Naturally, I feel a very deep connection to this character, and it is a role I want to play. It is not what I'm known for doing though. At this juncture in my career, I want to surprise myself and others."
