It’s the booming time for B-town as it’s coming up with best flicks and sequels. Aashiqui 2, which is taken as a sequel to old romantic saga Aashiqui where Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal were leading faces, is all set to hit the production floor.

But breaking all the misconceptions, the director of Aashiqui 2 Mohit Suri has announced the shooting schedule of movie and also has clarified his stance of Aashiqui 2 which is not at all a sequel of the old flick.

Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer Aashiqui 2’s shoot would be commencing from next month. The icing on the cake is that the movie will be shot at spectacular location of Goa, Mumbai and Cape Town. Suri announced the schedule saying, “Aashiqui 2 will go on floors by next month. We are planning to shoot the film in Goa, Mumbai and Cape Town. Aashiqui 2 is not a sequel to Aashiqui. It's a new story. The only similarity is the music and the love story. There are seven to eight songs in the film. It's a musical."

Suri, who had promised earlier to launch pretty fresh faces with this movie in the industry took a step back and now says, "Earlier, we were planning to launch fresh star cast, but it didn't work. As far as these two are concerned, they have just done two to three films. They both fit the bill perfectly."
