Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan recently came clear on the recent rumours saying that she was approached as a potential wife for Tom Cruise in 2004. The troubled actress disgusted all such reports saying no such incident ever happened to her.

The 26-year-old actress hit back today on Twitter, saying: "I just want everyone & Tom Cruise to know, that I have/had NO part in the VF story. Nor has anyone in my life, personal and work related."

And of course, Lindsay's dad Michael (who she once disowned and refused to speak to) said: "Tom has never called me to ask for her hand in marriage."

For those unaware, a controversial article published in a popular Hollywood magazine said, Lindsay met with Tom before he met Katie. At first, she was super excited to work with Tom and thought it was about a role in Mission Impossible. It soon became clear that he wasn't looking for an actress but something very different, they wrote.

Well, with Lindsay setting the records straight, we expect the rumour would die down soon!
