This indeed comes as a big shock for Lance Armstrong’s enthusiasts! Latest buzz making way from sports arena has the American cyclist will be stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and banned from cycling for life. The reports came from the US Anti-Doping Agency on Thursday.
It is considered that the decision has come as a reply for Armstrong’s announcement that he was giving up his battle against USADA's charges that he used performance-enhancing drugs to win the most prestigious event in the sport from 1999 to 2005.
Armstrong said he has decided not to continue his fight against the US Anti-Doping Agency's claims that he used performance-enhancing drugs. Armstrong, while maintaining his innocence, made his decision after a US federal court dismissed his lawsuit against USADA, paving the way for the agency to continue its probe into the retired American cyclist.
He even accused USADA of launching a "witch hunt" against him and said they were playing with a loaded deck. "Today I turn the page. I will no longer address the issue, regardless of the circumstances. I will commit myself to the work I began before ever winning a single Tour de France title," Armstrong said in a statement on his Twitter website Thursday evening.
Well, Armstrong your fans as always are there with you in all the circumstances!
