Of late, we have often come up with news saying Balaji Motion Pictures’ upcoming film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum rights have been sold for amount much-higher than their blockbuster The Dirty Picture. But so far there have been only rumours saying so, but this time Tusshar Kapoor confirms the buzz.
The all-India distribution rights of Balaji's Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum has been sold for 21.6 crore to a Nagpur based distributor, and if sources are to be believed, lead actor Tusshar Kapoor's highly controversial scene in the mad-cap comedy acted as a huge catalyst for the buy.
''Yes, that cheeky shot created a huge buzz and fetched the film a great price. The all-India rights have been bought by Heera Laxmi for Rs 21.60 crore. The sequence is a hilarious spoof on Dostana (2008), only we couldn't get hold of yellow briefs like John Abraham's so we had to make do with blue ones,'' reveals Tusshar.
Ask the actor if he was embarrassed while filming the shot and he is quick to reply, ''Everybody who needed to be there was present and I wasn't the slightest bit embarrassed... I'm an actor playing a character who is out to seduce the woman he fancies. It's not Tusshar but Adi you'll be seeing on screen. And it's not like I'm doing a full monty!''
