Newly divorced Katie Holmes, who was lately praised by Heidi Klum for her great style and fashion, is set to present her clothing line Holmes & Yang at the upcoming New York Fashion Week.

The 33-year-old actor-designer will be presenting her designs on September 9 at the Lincoln Center, where the biggest names in the fashion industry will be making their presence noticed. "This is a big deal for Katie to show in the tents, under the full attention of the fashion editors and the glare of the media scrutiny," a source said.

Batman Begins star founded Holmes & Yang with design partner Jeanne Yang in 2009. "They could have done a small show elsewhere, so this proves she and Jeanne are very serious about their business," the source added.

For those unaware, the ready-to-wear line is stocked in exclusive boutiques including Barneys in New York and Harvey Nichols in London. Holmes had previously described her collection as basics with a twist to suit everyone from "rock stars to heads of state".

Katie, whose career took a back seat, after her marriage with Tom Cruise in 2005, is keen on revitalizing her career following her recent divorce from the latter.
