It was Mahesh Bhatt who first went inside Bigg Boss house to offer Sunny Leone the lead role in Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller Jism 2, and though he is not directing the film, he continues to be gung ho about it.

Not just did he bring himself on board as a story and screenplay writer, he also made sure that the film turned out to be yet another shocking and dramatic tale.

"Let me very candid here; Jism 2 is going to be head and shoulders above what the original Jism was as far as the dramatic structuring that it boasts of," he declares, "It is far more mature and efficiently created screenplay. Also, it kind of deals with contemporary man-woman situation; more so since our film involves two men (Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh) and one woman (Sunny Leone).

It talks about the world that we live in and complex times that we find ourselves in. The film carries true resonance of my conviction, belief and understanding in the subject."

No wonder, it took him two years to pen down the final draft of the screenplay.  He added, "Jism 2 has turned out to be a film which I have enjoyed writing after a very long time. Pooja didn't want to settle for anything lesser. The results are there to be seen."

We are waiting for that as well once the film hits the screens on 3rd August!
