It is no more a news that Imran Khan, the lover boy of town is all set for an image makeover with the coming sequel of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. The film also stars Akshay Kumarand Sonakshi Sinha. It was already reported that in the film Imran will play a tapori.
However, what comes as a piece of surprise is the fact that for the said role Imran is said to be seeking inspiration from the on-screen tapori avatars of veterans Anil Kapoor andJackie Shroff, who have quite gracefully pulled off such roles in the past. Alike his uncle Aamir Khan, he wants to do his best for each character. So he is engaged in research to develop a perfect tapori look for himself.
As per a source, “After doing films like I Hate Luv Storys and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu; Imran was hell bent on getting a makeover. His look in the upcoming film with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha will be very different from the past”.
The source went on to add, “It was finally decided that his look would be a blend between Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff of the '80s when each of them epitomized the tapori look through their films. Imran feels Anil and Jackie were the most stylish men from that era”.
