Badminton ace Saina Nehwal is geared up for the London Olympics battle as she heads to London, being India’s strongest medal hope.
She is all set for Olympics as she quips, “Yes, I am set. But I cannot exactly describe the feeling I have been going through for the past few weeks. Olympics is a very big event and I am glad I am going to be in London soon.”
Of late, there has been so much noise in the Indian sports fraternity with regards to the Olympics, be it the tennis controversy, or the innumerable felicitations and interviews, but Saina wants to remain away from all of them.
“I am actually doing what I am required and expected to be doing. I am a sportsperson and my first and the most important job is to play well and make my country proud. I have been training hard to put up a good show in London. I don't like chaos, controversies or any kind of conflicts. When I see a conflict, or something going wrong, or an argument, I just want to shut my eyes and ears and focus on my own job. I'm the last person to embroil myself in any conflict, I like staying away from it.”
Well, that is best thing do sometimes, meanwhile do well at Olympics, we wish you best of luck!
