If you think that Veena Malik is the only one from Pakistan to start on with her controversial sprees in B-town then we guess you all seem to have forgotten the hottie Meera.

Yes, she is the same actress who was launched in Bollywood by the Bhatts in their film Nazar where she was seen playing the lead opposite Ashmit Patel. Though the film was a big failure but what made her bag the eyeballs was the allegation she put on Mahesh Bhatt. It is notable that Meera had accused of Mahesh slapping her.  Not to mention that this news had created a great ruckus in town and things returned to the normal state once Meera went back to Pakistan.

However, she is still not over with her contentious acts. As per the buzz she has now claimed that she had a yearlong affair with former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar, who never appreciated her commitment. While conversing with the sources recently she said, “Two years ago the media spread rumors about my affair with Shoaib Akhtar, and I admit I was involved with him.

Shoaib does not take his relationships seriously. He proposed to my cousin and me on the same day. He even hit me in front of TV staff. He is a man who wasted a year of my life and hurt me tremendously.”

Reacting to the story, Shoaib gave a statement, "This is totally baseless. Why should I have proposed to her? Just don't give any importance to this. Many women dream of marrying me."

Whoops! Just wondering what would be Meera’s US based beau Naved Pervez’s reaction over this confession made by Meera a day before their engagement!
