Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg is now keen on making the third sequel of Tintin! Although The Adventures of Tintin hasn’t made much money in America but it’s been raking it aboard and that might have exactly boasted Spielberg’s confidence in the franchise!

As per buzz Spielberg claimed that his co-producer Peter Jackson will start shooting Tintin part Deux this year when he’s done shooting The Hobbit! He’ll begin his performance, capture work with the actors later in 2012.

Recently the filmmaker was quizzed about his aspirations to make such movie and he did confirm the development! Spielberg noted that the screenplay is currently being written for the sequel. English author-screenwriter Anthony Horowitz has written a screenplay based on the Tintin volume Prisoners of the Sun.

“I'm not going to say which stories have been chosen for director Peter Jackson's sequel as Peter and I agreed not to spill the beans. The script for the third film is being written now. When Peter is done shooting The Hobbit, he'll begin his work for the film and I'm very excited about it. I had great fun shooting the first part and I hope I'll be able to direct the third one too,” Spielberg said!
