The 2012 has started with the blockbuster opening of Agneepath! The remake of 1990 cult classic by same name was expected from the start to be a big hit but the numbers went beyond expectations!

It has proved to the filmmakers that it is not just Salman Khan who’s the one and only stake claimer on opening day collections, whose Bodyguard set the record opening of 21.5 crores at the box-office last year only to be broken by Agneepath!

Now Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are hell bent to go to all extents in making their movie Housefull 2 a record opener! They are aiming for nothing less than a record start. At the same time one can’t ignore that the Republic Day holiday had a huge contribution in making Agneepath film register a mind boggling opening.

No wonder, Sajid Nadiadwala is also pitching his multi-starrer Housefull 2 as a biggie that would embark on a record breaking start. With the film releasing over an extended four day long weekend which is made of holidays (Thursday 5th April is Mahavir Jayanti and 6th April is Good Friday), sky is the limit for it if the word of mouth catches on in a big way!
