Dreams are the part of everyone’s life and turning them into reality becomes the motive of the life. What all one needs is the firm determination and confidence that can help the dreams to turn into reality.
The same happened with the Indian origin British actress Archie Panjabi who won an Emmy on August 29, 2010, for the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role as Kalinda Sharma on the CBS drama, ‘The Good Wife’. This is just superb… Isn’t it?
She was just looking wow in the award function ceremony in her Tadashi Shoji dress. Wasn’t she? A heartily congratulation Archie on your grand success and may you achieve more and more. Let’s know a little about Archie.
Archie Panjabi was born as Archana Panjabi in London on May 31, 1972. She was highly recognized for her roles in the 1999 film East is East, the 2002 comedy film Bend It Like Beckham and of course the award winner as Kalinda Sharma on the current CBS television series The Good Wife.
Her parents Govind and Padma Panjabi are from India. At the age of 26, she married Rajesh Nihalani who is a Sikh and a tailor by profession. Well… Archie, you are perfectly settled in all ways and can rightly be called as self made woman. That is really inspirable!!
Do you know who did she beat out in this race and turned out to be the winner?? The nominees in her category included Good Wife co-star Christine Baranski, Sharon Gless (Burn Notice), Rose Byrne (Damages), Elisabeth Moss and Christina Hendricks (Mad Men). Great!!
On this huge win, she said “When I started in the business in England, just getting a job was a dream. And to receive an Emmy now is just beyond my wildest dreams.”
We understand Archie… how you would be feeling! Loads of best wishes from our end too, for your twinkling like star future!!
