Finally Mitali Nag has grabbed luck in her fist and has got a way of getting back on the right track in her career. The actress has been selected to play the female lead in Zee TV's upcoming primetime show Afsar Bitiya.

The actress after a long time and number of auditions has been finalized for the role. Talking about the role, Mitali said, “I still remember the day when I got a call from the casting director. I had a taken a break from work and was in my hometown, Nagpur when the director gave me a brief and asked me to send a footage. So for the audition, I shot the footage on a handy cam and uploaded it on YouTube, which was shown to the channel for approval.

Then I came to Mumbai for the final look test. During the look test, I had to do one particular scene with seven different guys who were being auditioned for the male lead. Enacting the role of a wife to seven men for the auditions to select the male lead made me feel like I'd even beaten Draupadi... I heaved a sigh of relief when Kinshuk was finally chosen to play the male lead”.
