A model turned Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who made entry in the world of Bollywood through SRK’s Om Shanti Om since then has been always working with a number of big super stars like Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.

In Ashutosh Gowariker`s `Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey`, she is playing the role of a brave girl ‘Kalpana’ and Deepika cracks that it has always been a dream role for her and finally her dream has come true. Hmm… that sounds pretty interesting!!!!

Why not to know a little about this movie that made Deepika go crazy?? Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is a periodic film based on freedom movement starring Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan. The director Mr. Gowariker also told that it is based on the book `Do and Die` by Manini Chatterjee & revolves around the Chittagong Uprising of the 1930s.

The film is mostly shot in Goa and Mumbai and slated for December release. Do you know that this is for the first time that Deepika and Abhishek are pairing opposite each other?

Moreover, when Deepika was asked as how she finds Abhi as a co-star, she said, "He is so much fun to work with. I`m glad that I am getting a chance to work with different kinds of actors." Ah!! We too are excited to see this novel pairing.

Speaking about the role, Deepika quips, "It is something so new and unique for me. I am very grateful to Ashutosh who thought I was capable to carry off such a powerful role. It is a dream come true and a very important film of my career". High spirits… Deepika!!
