This comes as a big justification made from actress Deepika Padukone in regards to the rumors which have been taking a toll over her image.

After the actress’ dirty spat with Ramesh Taurani, producer of Race 2, Dips found herself dealing with a new controversy stating her to have signed Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express which stars Shahrukh Khan in the lead. In fact, it was reported that Dips had replaced Kareena Kapoor in the film owing to the fact that Bebo was short of dates.

However, things took a new turn when Rohit expressed his anger in media retorting that he has so far not approached any of the actresses for the said role. He even sounded infuriated with the entire episode involving his forthcoming venture. Looks like, Dips isn’t ready to repeat the Taurani thing again which is why she has come clear with the facts.

Deepika clearly stated that she isn’t doing Chennai Express and even concluded that Rohit never offered her the film. She said, "I haven`t been approached for Chennai Express. Having said that, I`ve watched all his (Shetty`s) films. He`s a fabulous filmmaker and I would love to work with him someday”.

Well, we hope that the gossipmongers are listening to this declaration from her end and would mind putting an end to all such baseless rumors!
