Emraan Hashmi, who dare-devilry kissed in front of camera, is actually a claustrophobic person, who has the fear of having no escape and being closed in small spaces or rooms.  

According to source, recently while shooting inside an apartment elevator for Ek Thi Daayan with Vishal Bhardwaj, it apparently took a week for the crew to wrap up the scene.

Emraan was to shoot for a spooky scene inside the lift. "But he could not finish the scene in a day contrary to what the unit had expected. Emraan Hashmi felt so claustrophobic and it posed to be a big challenge for us,” a close unit source reveals.

Emraan says he feels the unit and he were jinxed during the particular shot. He said: "We tried for the first time and it didn't work out. It took us several takes and many breaks to finally complete it after a week."

His upcoming Ek Thi Daayan, starring three ladies Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechlin and Konkona Sen Sharma opposite him is a joint production of Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, the film's trailer has already been received well. The film, based on the legend of a witch, will hit theatres on April 18.
