We hear from sources that veteran actor Gulshan Grover, will be playing the character. He will sport long hair coupled with the trademark stubble, and move around barefoot in the movie. To make his part look as authentic as possible, the actor is borrowing from his interactions with the celebrated artist.
Meanwhile, when sources contacted Gulshan, he declined to share too many details saying, "I'm in an interesting phase of my career with filmmakers putting greater faith in me as an actor. When I was offered the role, inspired by the legendary artist and woven in a touching story, I loved it and took it up."
