Everybody knows that Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel is facing tough times these days. The graph of her career is declining constantly and the lady is juggling hard to be in the limelight. Fortunately, the actress has a big project in her hand; Race 2 which could prove a turning point in her floating career.

A little birdie from the town says that Ameesha is desperate to seek attention of everyone; the lady is willing to be a center of attraction again. Moreover, she is trying badly to make a splash on the screen. To get into the mainstream again, she doesn’t want to let go of any opportunity.

If believe the sources, the smart actress tried hard to grab the role of Deepika Padukone back then in Race 2. When Deepika, who was playing the female lead in the flick, decided to walk out of the project due to her date issues, Ameesha left no stone unturned to encash this golden opportunity.

As she was doing a cameo in the flick, she immediately called the troubled producer, Ramesh Taurani and expressed her desire to do the main lead. Though, Ramesh was not enough convinced with her and she couldn’t fulfill her wish. Post that, Deepika made a comeback and Ameesha had to stick to the offered role. Helmed by Abbas Mustan, Race 2 also stars Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham in the key roles.
