Inspired with the ghastly incident that recently took place when a 15-year old student stabbed his teacher in Chennai to death, Mahesh Manjrekar has decided to immediately remake his anti-education Marathi film into Hindi.
As the hero of southern remakes and Mahesh’s good friend Salman Khan is busy as a bee with his movies, so he won’t be available for the Hindi version of the anti-academic Marathi film Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho, Mahesh Manjrekar has turned to another A-lister Akshay Kumar!
Mahesh is keen on Akshay to play the role of the tyrannical father who realizes too late that his son's mind and heart are meant for cricket, and not for formal education. He is currently shooting with him for Akshay's own production Oh My God!
In the movie Mahesh took up the role of a lawyer only so that he could familiarize Akshay with the theme of Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho on the sets. Being the father of a growing boy Akshay is deeply moved by the film's theme of a child's heavy burden of books and academia that stunts his natural growth.
And it is heard that Akshay has given his nod to the movie. We are sure that Akshay would do justice to the role!
