Going by the latest south movies fascination trend in Bollywood, south star Mohanlal’s film Casanova is the latest entry in the tinsel town to be remade in Hindi!
But the director of the flick is in dilemma over choosing the leading star for the movie. Andrrews is stuck between Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn. But sources say that he is more inclined towards Aamir. The original Malayalam film had a slow start but picked up over the week due to less competition. By the end of the second weekend, the mega budget movie was declared a hit.
Looking at all the money the film was minting down south Ketan Shah bought the producing rights of the film in Hindi. Now the tussle between the perfectionist Khan and the exemplary actor Devgn has to be settled.
The remake rights of the Mohanlal-Shriya Saran starrer that released two weeks ago is apparently said to have been sold for a record-breaking amount. Says director Roshan Andrews of the original film, "Even when we were writing the film we thought it was a perfect script for a Hindi film. It's got all the elements for a masala movie. I cannot reveal the actor's names right now, but it is a big star. Otherwise it won't do justice to Lal's role in the film."
Now if we compare Aamir and Ajay then guess the former leads the show. Isn’t it?
