Grapevine is abuzz in tinsel town that the makers of Kya Super Kool Hain Hum have rubbed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in wrong way as sources say the latter is miffed with the spoofs on his film Devdas in adult comedy. Apparently, Sanjay is not at all amused with this antic.
We can see in the promo of the film that Ekta's upcoming film with Tusshar, Riteish, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane is a spoof on Bhansali with the song Dil Dola Re Dola playing in the background.
Now what we hear is that when the director learnt about it, he was not amused. It is a known fact that he does not take kindly to his films being ridiculed. Earlier too, he was very upset with Rohit Shetty for making fun of him and his films in the Golmaal series.
The film features a scene where Tusshar is dressed as Devdas and Neha and Sarah as Chandramukhi and Paro respectively. It is believed that the ladies make a remark about battery-operated sex toys available in the market when Tusshar's character tries to convince Neha's about falling for him instead of Sarah.
Producer Ekta Kapoor clarifies, "A spoof is the best form of flattery. We've spoofed as many as five films including The Dirty Picture. Everyone knows that the spoofs are in a light vein. There is no personal dig and I don't think Sanjay will be upset."
Well we feel that instead of getting irked, Bhansali must take it in sporting manner!
