Born into a Marathi family in Mumbai, Shreyas Talpade completed his education from Shree Ram Welfare Society's High School in Andheri-West. He set his career in motion by performing in Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows in Maharashtra. His role as Tejas in a Marathi soap Damini is very well known. He got Iqbaal as his Bollywood debut and was able to collect the kudos from both audience and critics.
After his debut in Bollywood, Shreyas has been lucky to get good gross able ventures like Apna Sapna Money Money, Golmaal Returns, Welcome to Sajjanpur and Om Shanti Om.
Shreyas has claimed the fame fast in both Bollywood and in Marathi films and is all set to grow more.
